Two Jersey Shore Restaurants Featured on Travel Channel

Man v. Food Monmouth County Bahrs Landing Speakeatery

Monmouth County received the recognition it deserved on Monday, May 28 when two local restaurants were featured on the national television show, Man v. Food.

Bahrs Landing, a Monmouth County staple located on the water at 2 Bay Ave. in Highlands, New Jersey has been famous for their seafood since 1917 and is a must try!

In this episode, Casey Webb showed viewers across the country how Highlands gets down! Chowing down on a six pound crab meat stuffed lobster, it was clear that Webb is a fan.

The Speakeatery, located at 705 Cookman Ave. in Asbury Park is a gourmet deli and food market. They offer fresh food, hot/cold sandwiches, salads, soups, artisan cheeses, and much more!

Known for their extravagant sandwiches, Casey Webb tried the Hand Grenade sandwich. The sandwich has both mac and cheese and ribs.

If you’re in Monmouth County, New Jersey, be sure to check out either of these restaurants. TST BBQ of Middletown was also set to be featured on the episode. Last week, The Journal NJ shared an article inviting people to tune in and check them out.
