Red Bank Catholic Performing Arts Department Performs Cinderella

The Red Bank Catholic Performing Arts Department is ready to charm the Broad Street Auditorium stage with one of the most beloved fairytales of all time, Cinderella. The Rodgers and Hammerstein classic will be performed March 23rd through March 26th.

This magical story begins as a kingdom celebrates a royal proclamation that Prince Christopher (senior John Gnazzo) will find a bride. Maidens all over the kingdom are invited to attend as Grace (senior Samantha Ventola), Joy (junior Devlin Stark) and the Stepmother (senior Samantha Siriani) attempt to plot and scheme their way into the Princeโ€™s heart. On the night of the ball, Cinderella (junior Miranda Franco) helps her stepmother and stepsisters get ready and has been told that that her place is at home cooking, sewing, and cleaning. Once they leave, Cinderella imagines what it would be like to attend the ball and begins to cry. Her fairy godmother (freshman Jacqueline Hennessy) appears and helps transform Cinderella into a beautiful princess and transports her to the ball. She captivates the Prince and all his royal guests only to dash out at midnight leaving behind a glass slipper as the only clue to finding her again. The Prince searches across the land for the one who fits the slipper and when he finally finds Cinderella they marry and live happily ever after. Donโ€™t miss this enchanting story come to life with beautiful music and a touch of magic!

The show is directed by Alana Herron, with musical direction by Shawn Mack and choreography by Kelly Gemellaro.

Performances are March 23rd, 24th, and 25th at 7 p.m. and March 25th, 26th at 2 p.m.. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets can be purchased on the RBC website.
