Nemo Tile + Stone Opens New Showroom in Red Bank

Red Bank Mayor Pasquale Menna, along with owner Matt Karlin and his team, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to launch the January 19 grand opening celebration of Nemo Tile + Stone in Red Bank. TV personality and New Jersey resident Blanche Garcia from Travel Channel’s “Hotel Impossible” was also at the event.

Nemo Tile + Stone is a proud, 95-year-old family-owned business offering extensive top-performing surfacing collections for a wide variety of spaces, including homes, hotels, restaurants, and retail stores. Situated in a standalone building in the heart of Red Bank, Nemo’s newest and sixth showroom location, in a 4,000-square-foot space with ample parking, provides New Jersey with an unparalleled range of floor and wall coverings, including porcelain and glass tiles, in addition to a variety of high quality stone collections.

With established showrooms in Manhattan’s Flatiron District; Jamaica, Queens; Hicksville, Long Island; and a recently-opened location in Philadelphia, Red Bank was a natural fit, as the town draws visitors and locals alike who seek trendy stores, a bustling arts scene, and eclectic cuisine. Third generation CEO and President Matt Karlin sought to build upon the company’s longstanding reputation to develop a new showroom that showcased the expansive variety of Nemo Tile’s product offerings, while also providing its unrivaled level of customer service to the local, upscale clientele. The new showroom will feature various displays and installations that integrate the full breadth of materials into a variety of bathrooms and kitchen settings. Nemo Tile’s extensive selections of natural stone and tile will provide local residents with a variety of products that appeal to the coastal elegance style and timeless designs typically found in homes along the shore and throughout Central New Jersey. Additionally, the dedicated contractor’s space will offer the convenience of sourcing materials on the spot, as collections and setting materials will be in stock in the showroom’s basement warehouse.

Nemo Tile plans to ingrain itself into the community by hosting events and educational seminars in the new showroom, encouraging prospective customers to visit and learn more about the company and its offerings. “It was important for us to set ourselves apart from the competition in the area, and we’ve partnered with three tile setting leaders—Laticrete, Bostik, and Schluter—to offer quarterly classes. We are committed to becoming an active part of the community and getting to know our customers,” said Mr. Karlin. Onsite, Nemo’s knowledgeable staff will assist clients in product selection, the installation process, and where to start in the planning phase of designing or redesigning a space in their home, becoming a go-to destination for the Monmouth County community.

The Red Bank showroom is located at 21 White Street. For more information, visit www.nemotile.com.
