The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County (MHAMC) held its Annual Dinner at The Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank on Wednesday, May 10th from 6:00 – 9:00pm.  Each year MHAMC hosts the Annual Dinner in May to celebrate Mental Health Month and honor individuals who have made a significant and lasting impact in the lives of Monmouth County residents. With over 200 guests in attendance, MHAMC celebrated 67 years of providing a prevention focused support network for all in need of mental health services.

Highlights of the evening included a beautiful chance auction display, butler passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktail hour set on the outdoor terrace overlooking the Navesink. The attendees were inspired by the humbling speeches of MHAMC’s Award recipients; Thomas A. Schember, Humanitarian Award, Kathy Collins, LCSW, Tony Dowling Child Advocacy Award, Gary Puma & Springpoint Senior Living, Philanthropy Award, Jordan Ramos-Farhat, Volunteer Award, and Azalea Mendez, Monarch Award.  Distinguished guests, Senator Joseph A. Kyrillos, Jr., Senator Jennifer Beck, Freeholder John Curley, and Freeholder Lilian Burry were in attendance to honor the outstanding efforts of our community members.

MHAMC would like to thank the sponsors of the evening; Springpoint Senior Living, Humanitarian Award Sponsor, Investors Bank, Philanthropy Award Sponsor, and Hackensack Meridian Health,Tony Dowling Child Advocacy Award Sponsor.
