Former Holmdel Resident Charged with Attempted Murder

Jaclyn Edison, a former Holmdel resident was arrested on May 29 for alleged murder-for-hire plot to murder her boyfriend’s parents in order to receive life insurance and an inheritance.

Jaclyn Edison and Nicolas Shaughnessy were both arrested on warrants charging them with criminal solicitation of first-degree murder, a charge that carries a sentence of up to 99 years in prison.

Edison was a former Holmdel High School cheerleader and field hockey player
