Escape to one of the most welcoming and vibrant cities in America when the Monmouth County Park System hosts Destination: Asheville, NC. This multi-overnight trip begins when the bus leaves at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 15, from Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, and travels to Asheville, NC. It returns at approximately 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.

This five-night trip includes two major “must-sees”: the beauty and grandeur of the Biltmore Estate and a guided drive of the picturesque scenery of “America’s Favorite Drive,” the Blue Ridge Parkway. Additional trip highlights include a trolley tour of Asheville, NC; Antler Hill Village with a Winery Tour; and self-guided tours of St. Lawrence Basilica and the Folk Art Center Museum of Appalachian Arts and Crafts. There may be some free time for additional sightseeing on your own.
