Mental Health Association of Monmouth County’s Annual Golf Classic & Cocktail Party


The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County (MHAMC) will host its Annual Golf Classic and Cocktail Party at the Navesink Country Club on Monday, August 14, 2017 as part of MHAMC’s continued efforts to raise awareness and necessary funds for the free mental health services that MHAMC offers to members of the military and all families in Monmouth County.

The day will begin at 10:30 AM with registration, lunch and an open practice range. Golf registration includes 18 holes of championship golf at Navesink Country Club, green fees, golf cart rental, golf balls, lunch, beverages, unlimited use of practice greens, cocktail party, hors d’oeuvres and stations, 50/50 raffle, awards, and silent auction. Cocktail party tickets will be sold separately at $100 for those who would like to join MHAMC from 6 to 8 pm.

MHAMC’s Honored Keynote Speaker, Glenn Gaffney, Director of Science & Technology, CIA, will address guests during the evening program. In January 2008, Mr. Gaffney was named as Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Collection. In this role, Mr. Gaffney worked on behalf of the Director of National Intelligence to coordinate and integrate the collection efforts of the 16 intelligence agencies and ensured that Intelligence Community priorities were appropriately reflected in future planning and systems acquisition decisions. Glenn A. Gaffney was appointed as the Director for Science and Technology Effective January 2010.

This is a major event that MHAMC hosts every year to highlight its mission of promoting mental health and wellness and improving the care and treatment of persons affected by mental illness.
