High School Rugby Championships Come to Jersey Shore

On Memorial Day, Saturday, May 27, rugby comes to Rumson for the first time as Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School hosts the 2017 New Jersey High School Rugby State Championships on the Turf Field at Borden Stadium. There will be three games on that day, consisting of two 35-minute halves: the High School Boys, High School Girls, and U19 Boys Club Division that will determine the 2017 State Champions. Along with the New Jersey high school rugby governing body, RUGBY NJ, the event will be sponsored by local affiliates, the Jersey Shore Youth Rugby Organization and the RFH Youth Rugby Club.
Student ticket prices are $3 for advance purchase and $5 at the door.
