One of the most delicious days in Little Silver returns Saturday, May 18. It’s time for A Taste of Little Silver.

In 2017, the Little Silver Charitable Foundation, a 501c3 organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Little Silver through community events, organized the first-ever Spring Food Festival-Street Fair to support the community and local businesses.

This first event drew a crowd of more than 2,000 who came to visit the 70 participating booths that lined Prospect Avenue. Attendees sampled fare from talented chefs representing The Turning Point, Felicia’s Kitchen, Gianni’s Pizzeria, Ferucci’s Gourmet Foods, Olivia’s Trattoria, ACME, Graze, Angelo’s Italian Market and many others.

In addition to the eateries, there were salons and boutique shops, personal fitness, physical therapy, creative learning centers, dance and wellness studios, pet groomers, home appliance, gardening and landscape professionals, automotive, investment and travel experts, charitable organizations along with a day full of music and dance performed by Little Silver residents.

This May 18 event runs from 2 to 7 pm. Those interested in showcasing their services must submit a $100 participation fee to The Little Silver Charitable Foundation by April 15 (only businesses based in Little Silver or Little Silver residents with businesses can participate).

There is no alcohol permitted and no electricity, so businesses must supply their own generators. Register online at LSCFInc.com or call Rick Brandt at 908-675-7646.
