Woman’s Club of Middletown Plans February Meetings

Daytime members of the Woman’s Club of Middletown will meet at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2. Their “Gift That Didn’t Make It” auction, postponed from the January meeting, will be held, in addition to beginning preparations for the Shut-Ins project for the Visiting Nurses Association of Central Jersey.  Evening members will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 9. Featured speaker will be member Cheryl Bliss, who will present a film about her recent trip to Antarctica as a member of the National Geographic Society excursion. Both groups meet in Harlan Hall, at The Westminster Presbyterian Church, 94 Tindall Road, Middletown.

Members will continue their monthly food donations to The Calico Cat Food Pantry in Middletown in addition to working to support Prevent Child Abuse NJ, the 2016-2018 Special State Project of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs of GFWC (NJSFWC).

The Woman’s Club, as a member of NJSFWC, is a volunteer community service organization for women serving Middletown Township and the surrounding areas. Their goal is to promote friendships, share talents, support educational, civic, and social concerns, and work towards the betterment of the community.
