WEforum Collaborates on Fit Crawl Fundraiser

WEforum Fit Crawl Fundraiser

WEforum, in partnership with Monmouth Medical Center/RWJ Barnabas Health, hosted a Fit Crawl workout event on February 3. For a reasonable fee, participants were able to enjoy an exciting day of health and wellness sampling up to three classes at the hottest fitness studios in Monmouth County. Host instructors at each location were on hand to walk participants through a sampling of workouts – each designed to highlight their unique fitness programs.

Some of the local participating studios included: Clementine Cycling, Synergy Hot Yoga, Poe, and The Power Center, in Fair Haven; AB Fitness, and Perspirology in Sea Bright; Even Flow Yoga, Pilates Blast, Pure Barre, and Renaissance The Studio in Red Bank; LB Kass DANZhouse, and The Megacycle in Shrewsbury; New Shrewsbury Racquet Club in Tinton Falls; Fuel Fitness in Little Silver; andย  Aspire Fitness in Colts Neck .

One of the first organizations in the country to create this new spin on fundraising, the Fit Crawl was born from WEforumโ€™s desire to help ignite a passion for physical fitness with a community event that is empowering, inspiring and fun. To cap off their workout sessions guests also enjoyed a post Crawl Happy Hour at Renaissance The Studio in Red Bank, featuring vendors, free giveaways, cocktails and healthy snacks to celebrate health and wellness.

All proceeds from the event will go towards funding free health and wellness programs offered by Monmouth Medical Center/RWJ Barnabas Health.

The mission of WEforum is to strengthen the health and wellness of communities by educating and empowering individuals to take charge of their health care choices. They partner with organizations to promote a culture of healthy living by raising awareness through community events and by raising funds to develop and support programs and services that are free and accessible to all.
