Two of Three Women Arrested for Stealing Stroller in Middletown, Forgetting Child in Store

The Middletown Township Police Department have arrested two women who stole a stroller from Bambi Baby in Middletown and left a child behind. The third women was never found.

Three women entered the store located on Highway 35 with two children. After the women browsed the store, one of them stole a stroller on the way out. After leaving, one of the women realized that she forgot the child and ran back where she found the child sitting in the store.

Security footage shows the woman coming back to get the child.

The two women who were arrested were Maryann Cash, 23 of Surrey, East England and Nan McCarthy, 20 of Effingham, East England. The women were located in Eatontown and are facing conspiracy and shoplifting charges.
