Truck Stolen from Pep Boys Parking Lot in Hazlet

Stolen Hazlet Truck John Seney

On Tuesday, Jan. 8 around 7:30 pm, a 2006 Ford F-250 Diesel pickup truck was stolen from the parking lot of the Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service in Hazlet.

The truck belongs to John Seney, an employee at the auto store.

“The truck was highly modified with large tires and rims, a light bar across the top of the cab, HED headlights, custom grill and bumpers, and a cap over the bed. It was is a loud truck with a tuned engine,” Seney said.

A surveillance camera outside the building captured a photo of the person taking the vehicle, but the quality was not clear.

“He sped out of the parking lot and drove down Hazlet Avenue,” said David Seney, John’s brother.

If you have any information, please contact the Hazlet Police Department at 732-264-6565 or John Seney at 732-832-9449.
