The 47th Annual Clearwater Festival to be Held This Weekend

The 47th annual Clearwater Festival, held at Riverside Park in Red Bank, is a celebration of music and the environment. The festival will run on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 11 am to 7 pm and Sunday, Aug. 7 from 11 am to 5 pm. There will be music on two stages and information from environmentalists on the many ways you can help protect the earth. There will also be a children’s area with live entertainment and much more!

On both festival days, you can sail for free on the Clearwater/NMHA (Navesink Maritime Heritage Association) Oyster Garvey at Marine Park, located at 1 Marine Park. The crew will be ready to take on board seven to eight passengers from 1 to 5 pm. Just show up and go for a free sail any time between these hours.

Navesink Maritime Heritage Association is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving knowledge and appreciation of Monmouth County’s maritime heritage through programs that teach wooden boat building and the boat handling skills; through preserving the history of Monmouth County’s wooded boat builders and rich maritime history; and through experiential on-the-water programs of River Rangers for middle school children and Sea Scout Ship Navesink for coed youth 14-21.
