SUV Slams into Monmouth County Donut Shop
At approximately 2:30 Monday afternoon, an oversized vehicle crashed into a Dunkin Donuts storefront on the corner of Route 34 and Main Street in Matawan, as posted in the Bayshore Emergency Information and Reaction Facebook page.
Matawan Police Department responded to the accident at the corner shopping center. It is unclear if the accident was caused by the inclement weather, however as conditions worsened throughout the day, there have been reports of vehicles veering and sliding off roads in surrounding areas.
The store manager said no one was hurt in the accident, and the business reopened for business Tuesday.
