Oct. 11 was a special meeting for the Martha Mary Guild, at which time Father Anthony Carotenuto presided at a lovely ceremony to induct new members Jennifer Giocchini and Anne Marie Matthews. This was followed by a virtual presentation featuring Jamie Novak, author of “Keep This, Toss That.” Novak was a popular guest a few years ago, and her Zoom meeting was just as good, with great suggestions for decluttering homes.
Once again, the members’ generosity abounded with the collection of hats, gloves and scarves for Holiday Express.
