St. George’s-by-the-River Episcopal Church Invites All to Christmas Sale

Discover unique holiday treasures Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4 at the St. George’s second annual Canterbury Christmas Sale held in “Ralph Hall” at St. George’s-by-the-River Episcopal Church in Rumson.
Fans of the annual Canterbury Fair know there are plenty of great finds to be had. This unique event is a Christmas-themed rummage sale featuring some dandy new and gently used Christmas indoor and outdoor decorations at remarkable prices. Items have been donated by members of the church, their friends and families. This year’s event chairs – Jill Gemmel, Daren Hutchinson and Kathy Welch – promise a wide variety of items to spruce up your holiday décor and great gift items as well.

The sale also includes homemade baked goods, home decor, artwork, upscale toys and jewelry, and beautiful greenery arrangements and fresh boxwood trees. There will also be a small number of individually decorated 3- and 4-foot artificial Christmas trees for sale each with their own theme.

Proceeds will be designated to St. George’s Outreach Grants program which supports local charities such as Lunch Break, HABcore, 180 Turning Lives Around and Family Promise.

Sale hours are Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday, Dec. 4 from 9 am until noon. There is no admission fee. Cash, Credit cards and Venmo payments will be accepted.
