Spring and Summer Holmdel Recreation Events


Saturday, April 8 (rain date TBA) at 11:00 a.m.

Cross Farm Park (Route 520 and Longbridge Road)

For pre-kindergarten through grade three

Holmdel residents only; free event

Bring a bag or basket to collect the eggs at Cross Farm Park on Saturday, April 8. “Mr. Rabbit” will be hopping around, dancing, and taking pictures with the children. Parents should bring their own camera.


Holmdel Community Day/HYAA Opening Day Parade    

Saturday, April 22

Parade at 10:00 a.m. inside Cross Farm Park

Festival at Cross Farm Park from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Holmdel Recreation and HYAA are pleased to announce that plans are currently underway for Holmdel Community Day/HYAA Opening Day Parade. The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. inside Cross Farm Park. Enjoy the afternoon with other members of your community. Food vendors will be selling a large variety of food for your enjoyment, and craft vendors will have their new and handmade artwork on display for you to purchase. Children can enjoy the afternoon playing on the free rides or socializing with friends and neighbors. Many volunteer opportunities are available.


Memorial Day Ceremony

Monday, May 29 at 10:30 a.m.

Town Hall – Memorial Circle

Join Holmdel veterans and the Recreation Office as they honor those who have served in all wars. The ceremony will be held at Memorial Circle in front of Holmdel Town Hall. All are invited to attend this event. Refreshments will be served.


Holmdel Recreation Summer Day Camp

Monday-Friday, July 5-August 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Kindergarten through grade 6 at W.R. Satz School

Join your friends for a summer of games, sports, arts and crafts, special events, trips, and more! This program is open to Holmdel children who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade. Proof of age (birth certificate) and residency required. Registration is now open.
