Simon Malls Will Not be Open on Thanksgiving Day this Year

David Simon, CEO of the largest mall operator in the U.S., has decided to let retail workers spend Thanksgiving with their families.

“In these challenging times, we made the decision that we will not open on Thanksgiving Day, instead allowing our associates to spend the holiday with their loved ones,” Simon said in a press release.

There are 13 malls in New Jersey that will be closed for Thanksgiving. The Monmouth and Ocean County locations include:

  • Jersey Shore Premium Outlets, 1 Premium Outlet Blvd., Tinton Falls
  • Jackson Premium Outlets, 537 Monmouth Rd., Jackson
  • Ocean County Mall, 1201 Hooper Ave., Toms River

It was also stated in the Simon press release that all locations will reopen for Black Friday.
