The Shrewsbury Chorale proudly announces it’s second concert of the 2022-2023 season. The Golden Harp, under the direction of Fiona Smith Sutherland, will take place on Sunday, March 26, at 4 pm in Christ Episcopal Church, 90 Kings Highway, Middletown, NJ.
The program features Gwyneth Walker’s The Golden Harp and includes additional works by Part Uunsberg, Imant Raminsh, and Katerina Gimon. The balance of the concert will include familiar works by Mozart, Palestrina, Byrd, and more. A number of the pieces on the program require a string quartet as the main accompaniment and we have obtained members of the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players to perform with us. This concert will also feature solos by Jacqueline Quirk, soprano and Douglas Clark, tenor.
You may purchase advance tickets at a discount from our members ($20 regular, $17 senior/student, $8 child), or from their website (https://shrewsburychorale.org/purchase-tickets/). Or, you may purchase your tickets at the door. A reception will follow the afternoon performance, all are welcome.
