Rumson-Fair Haven Goalie Katie Walls Reaches Milestone

Rumson-Fair Haven soccer goalie Katie Walls has hit the 100-save single season milestone. She achieved the mark in a road game against Freehold Township on Oct. 13.

The anchor of a defense that has produced five shutouts, the junior has posted double digit saves four times this season. Her best outing of 2022 was a 12-save performance against Trinity Hall on Sept. 14.

“Katie is an irreplaceable component of our defense,” Head Coach Megan Heerwagen Rizzitello said. “She brings an energy and leadership to our team that makes everyone excited and ready to play. You can always count on her to come up big and make a game-changing save.”
