Pets for Vets New Challenge

The Journal loves a good challenge — and especially challenges for a good cause. Help us meet our next charity fundraising milestone and we’ll match it!

The Journal NJ is organizing a project called Pets for Vets Make a Difference to raise awareness and funding for Unbroken Warriors and The Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Foundation, with all proceeds to be divided equally between them. We are requesting online donations of $22 or more to our Pets for Vets project, via our GoFundMe Page at The amount of $22 is meant to represent the 22 veterans who commit suicide each day. In return, donors will receive a specially designed car magnet, with an image of a paw print, to represent the service dogs that are needed by veterans.

When we reach $2,222 in donations, The Journal will match that amount. Can you help us meet that challenge?
