Pedestrian Struck on Route 34 in Aberdeen Last Night

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Route 34 near Cambridge Drive in Aberdeen late Tuesday, Jan. 12. Police found the victim unresponsive in the roadway.

First responders were called to the scene. The unidentified woman was airlifted by a Northstar Medevac helicopter shortly after 8 pm.

According to reports, the woman is said to be in her 30s. She suffered severe head trauma and is being treated at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick. She was listed as being in stable condition with series injuries.
