Even Tony Sirico aka “Paulie Walnuts” loves Patricia's!

Tucked in a quiet corner at the Commons at Holmdel, Patricia’s (not related to the chain of Patrizia’s) stands out as one of the most vibrant and sought after Italian dining establishments in the area. Voted runner up in “The best Italian restaurant in each of N.J.’s 21 counties” by NJ.Com, this recent newcomer on the dining scene (opened in 2015) has established itself as a favorite among food enthusiasts from in and around Monmouth County. Owner and Holmdel resident Frank Brusco, his right-hand team, and staff of approximately 40, create a dining experience that has resulted in an extensive list of repeat clientele.

Brusco takes pride in providing the “best of everything” for customers, and is sincerely grateful for their patronage. The customers in turn are equally grateful for a delicious dining experience. Chef Lenny DiMaria and his busy kitchen turn out fresh, authentic, traditional dishes along with gluten-free options. The dessert menu boasts a variety of sweet selections including fresh cannoli, zeppole , nutella pizza, and a popular gluten- free,  gelato-filled, cookie sandwich (the cookies are made locally which Brusco says is important to support other businesses in the area).

The BYOB establishment is also a popular choice for special occasions offering a variety of menus tailored for parties, family-style dinners, children, and afternoon delights. The spacious dining area can accommodate intimate to large groups, and with the benefit of a soundproof ceiling the noise level is kept low which allows for quiet conversation and little interference from lively celebrations.

New on the menu is a building expansion featuring a 35-foot skylight and glass doors, slated to be completed by summer. With the growing requests for parties and events, in addition to a booming business (lunch and dinner served 7 days a week) Brusco decided to make the outdoor patio an extension of the indoors with an “al fresco feel. ” The four-season permanent structure will also double as a banquet room.

In keeping with the focus on customer satisfaction, Patricia’s also offers pick-up catering for home, office, schools or corporate events. Take-home orders are also an option and customers can use the restaurant’s new fast bite app for added convenience.

Patricia’s provides a traditional taste of home at the Commons in Holmdel.
