Paige Nolan paced the Trinity Hall girls’ lacrosse team to a 20-6 road win over Red Bank Regional on a career-high, eight-goal single-game performance. She also led the squad in ground balls and draw controls with six each.

Both teams took the field ranked in the top 20 statewide by NJ.com, the Monarchs in ninth and the host Bucs at 18. Accordingly a tight match was anticipated, but Trinity started the contest with six unanswered goals to take command early.

Also scoring for the victors were Mary Kate Allingham (three goals, two assists), Peyton McGuire (two goals, two assists), Charlotte Webber (two goals, one assist), Sarah Sullivan (one goal, one assist) and Alex Popham (one goal). Paige Kelly led the Bucs with three goals and seven draw controls.

With 19:01 remaining on the clock, Nolan scored a milestone 100th career goal. The contest was halted for a brief on-field celebration with balloons, flowers and hugs from teammates.

The Monarchs advance their record to 3-0 with the victory. They opened their season with a 13-5 road win over Southern, followed by a 16-6 defeat of RBC at home.
