NJ Malls Reopen โ€” What That Means for Monmouth and Freehold Raceway Malls

Gov. Phil Murphy has given the green light for shoppers to gallivant around malls once again as of today, June 29. Freehold Raceway and Monmouth Mall, both located in Monmouth County, have prepared the facilities to ensure shopper safety.

Both malls have made changes in light of the pandemic. Hours have been reduced to 11 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 pm on Sundays.

Hand sanitizing stations have been set up throughout the malls. Intense cleaning will take place as well, according to representatives from each location.

Masks are required to enter, but if a shopper forgets one, security guards will be giving them out at the Monmouth Mall.

Food court seating areas will remain closed, but food court tenants that choose to reopen may do so for carry-out only. The following will remain closed until further notice: valet services, play areas, stroller rentals and mall-operated carousels.
