The dust has finally settled and the Holmdel Library welcomes past and new patrons to the library. While the Library continues to develop, some great changes have been made. There are now dedicated parking spots for library patrons at both the front entrance and in parking lot #2. The Library has also expanded the children’s story time offerings to three days a week including Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. That is in addition to more special programs for the children. Registration is required for the below programs.

For Children:

Read to the Dogs grades K and up on Monday May 5 from 4:15 to 5 p.m.

Seed Balls for grades K and up on Monday, May 14 from 4:30 to 5:50 p.m.

Children will work with Debbie Hadley from WILD Jersey to make a tasty treat for the birds. Not for those with peanut allergies.

For Adults:

Monmouth Film 360: Presented by Monmouth Film Festival in partnership with the library is a free monthly film series focused on showcasing films adapted from popular works of literature. Following the screenings, there is a panel discussion with expert guests discussing the techniques and elements of the films. Scheduled dates are : Wednesday, May 9 and June 13  beginning at 6:15 p.m. Call the library for details.

Tuesday, May 15 from 12 to 2 p.m. Power of the Inbox program presented by Bonnie Kantor. Explore the top email marketing trends for small businesses and simple ideas to incorporate them into marketing plans, including how to use data for marketing decisions and how to do more business and save time.

Wednesday, June 6 at 6:30 p.m. Annuities: The Good the Bad and the Ugly. The seminar will offer a working understanding of how annuities work and will review types of annuities, costs and income generation among others. Presented by Mark D Lowe- certified financial planner.
