Newcomers and Neighbors Club Begins New Season

The Newcomers and Neighbors Club offers many special activity groups that include guests, partners, and spouses. The “Dinner at Seven” group met last December for a delicious holiday meal with friends.

On September 14, the Newcomers and Neighbors Club of Colts Neck, Holmdel, and surrounding areas will hold their first general meeting of the 2016-2017 calendar year at Conover Road Firehouse #2 in Colts Neck at 9:30 a.m. Members, prospective members, and guests are invited to enjoy a social hour with coffee, tea, and refreshments, an organizational business meeting, and a presentation by nutritionist Jeff Stallup, who will focus on disease prevention, skin care, and natural pain relief. Drop-ins are welcome!

The club provides a social network for new and longtime residents of Monmouth County and surrounding areas. Activity groups such as book club, gourmet lunch group, dinner group, theater and travel group, Bunco game group, and others provide social opportunities throughout each month. A new group for the spicy single ladies in the club will be forming soon!

The October 12 meeting of the club will be a delicious brunch at the stately Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank. In November, the club will visit Dearborn Market for a holiday craft or cooking demonstration. Stay tuned for more information or call (732) 577-0875 or (732) 530-9543. Membership is only $35 for the entire year. Come join the club and enjoy a new season of education, charity, friendship, and fun!
