Motorcyclist Killed in Marlboro Collision this Past Weekend

UPDATE: The motorcyclist has been identified.

This past Sunday afternoon, a 34-year-old motorcyclist collided with a vehicle and was killed. The fatal collision occurred in Marlboro on Tennent Road.

According to Patch.com, a Marlboro resident was riding his motorcycle on Tennant Road around 4 pm when he colliding with a vehicle. Morganville emergency units responded to the accident and, upon arrival, found a black motorcycle lying in the road. The EMTs attended to the victim who was found just north of the crash on the road.

The motorcyclist was rushed to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune and was later pronounced dead. He has not yet been identified. Police are pending family notification.

The driver of the vehicle is a 17-year-old male. He has not been charged and was not injured, according to officials.

The tragic incident is still under investigation.
