On Tuesday, Jan. 3, Wall Township Police conducted an investigation at the Budget Inn Motel located on Hwy 35 in Wall. Three individuals, Gerren Schenck, 42, of Tinton Falls, Amanda DiBenedetto, 30, of Neptune, and Maria Murday, 57, of Wall Township, were arrested and charged with the following: possession of heroin, crack cocaine, prescription narcotic, possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Schenck was found to have an active Wanted Persons warrant for his arrest out of the Monmouth County Sheriffs Office. He was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
DiBenedetto was additionally charged with loitering for the purpose of engaging in prostitution and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. She was released on a summons complaint.
Sergeant Amy Gallaudet, Detective Shane Roland and Patrolman Kevin Wagner are the investigating officers.
Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trail rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State law.
