Mental Health Association of Monmouth County to Host Golf Classic at Beacon Hill
In celebration of its 70th anniversary, the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County will host its annual Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 10 at Beacon Hill Country Club. With spectacular views of the New York City skyline, and as one of the first being held, MHA’s outing will surely be a welcome diversion for all of our participants and supporters.
While MHA of Monmouth County had hoped to celebrate its anniversary more robustly, its ability to pivot seamlessly during the pandemic illustrates the reason for its longevity and ongoing quality of service.
MHA of Monmouth has not skipped a beat during the last several months, continuing to serve existing clients via telehealth while also expanding its services in direct response to COVID-19. MHA has provided emotional support and counseling (remote and free of charge) by licensed clinicians, as well as educational webinars to assist clinical therapists and school staff in most effectively supporting individuals experiencing increased mental health concerns as a result of the coronavirus.
