Martha Mary Guild Recognized for Donations to Collier Youth Services

Martha Mary Guild members attend a Summer Social on June 9, at which the group was recognized for its annual contributions to Collier Youth Services.
A Summer Social was held on June 9 to raise funds for Collier Youth Services and to give special recognition to three of their loyal donors: the Shore Building Association of Central New Jersey and Professional Women in Building of the Garden State, the Women’s Club of Colts Neck, and the Martha Mary Guild of St. Mary Church.
The mission of Collier Youth Services is to provide at-risk youth a chance to grow toward their potential in an environment that promotes belonging, dignity and hope. More than 175 campers from low-income families are bussed to the beautiful grounds of Collier, where they enjoy many activities together, while learning to care for and respect others.
The Martha Mary Guild donates a portion of the proceeds from the annual Clothing/Linen Sale to contribute to worthwhile causes like Collier’s Kateri Day Camp. This yearβs Clothing/Linen Sale will be held from Thursday, Sept. 8 to Saturday, Sept. 10.Β
Every spring, the guild collects a host of items for Kateri, including bathing suits, beach towels, pool toys, sandals and books for children ages 5 to 13.
