Teen Scene, one The Journal’s most popular monthly columns, is looking for authors for 2018.
Each story appears in all 5 Journal editions (approx. 38,000 copies) as well as online.

The authors can write about 750-850 words in their own voice on a personal experience or accomplishment that will ultimately inspire or educate both fellow teens and parents.

The stories should have a point of view or a ‘lessons I’ve learned” kind of feel. We also welcome essayists who wish to write about a topic like being an only child or growing up the only girl with five brothers, that sort of thing.

Lori Draz will work with the authors to refine their stories without changing them too much.
