Long Branch Director of Public Safety Issues Statement Ahead of Pop-Up Party Date

Director Saldida along with the Long Branch Department of Public Safety wants to inform their residents and merchants of measures being taken this coming weekend, with the potential of an unsanctioned pop-up party on June 19.

Just last night, all organizers of this illegal event were court ordered to post that it was canceled. They were also ordered to stop any advertisement or promotion of this event and future illegal events in the city. Many have already complied.

What you will notice this weekend:

β€’ A visible increased police presence, not just along the Oceanfront but throughout the entire city

β€’ All parking regulations will be strictly enforced.

β€’ All illegally parked vehicles will be towed.

Saldida stated that the police department is actively monitoring the situation. They are coordinating with other law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of the community.

Again, there will be zero tolerance for any illegal activity.
