Lincroft Tavern Approved, Construction to Begin Soon

Lincroft Tavern Inn

On April 4, the Middletown Planning Board unanimously approved the application for the Lincroft Tavern! The building will be located at 700 Newman Springs Rd, at the former Lincroft Inn.

Construction for the 12,087 square foot business is expected to begin in early June. The business will have a basement and two-stories. The basement will have a wine bar and seating for up to 30 people. The first floor will boast a bar that seats 88 people and a dining room with seating for 72 people. The second floor will have two more dining rooms that are geared more toward hosting parties.

The Lincroft Inn was a big part of life in the Lincroft corner of Middletown, and since it closed, locals have been looking for a place to meet for lunch and dinner and drinks. They will get that place in the near future. The property was sold to the Hesse Company of Atlantic Highlands in 2016. The community is excited to experience the Lincroft Tavern!
