Salt Steakhouse, an upscale kosher steakhouse, is anticipated to open at The Lofts at Pier Village.
New Jersey restaurateur David Mizrahi will be opening the 5,500-square-feet kosher steakhouse with a trendy, upscale flare. There will be a bar, wood-fire oven and a meat-aging fridge, according to Yea Thats Kosher.
The menu will offer steak, wood-fired flatbreads, fish and salads. Running the kitchen will be Chef Pinchas Frank, who previously worked at Entree in Lakewood.
In addition to the restaurant, Salt Steakhouse will be offering locals and vacationers Shabbat meals at local hotels around the area.
An opening date has not been announced.
