The Keansburg locals’ beloved summer spot, Keansburg Amusement Park, will be partially reopening on Saturday, June 20. Though the water park section will stay closed until Gov, Phil Murphy allows it to operate, the park will be reopening other sections of the park, including games, go-karts and food stands.

Keansburg Amusement Park stated in a Facebook post regarding the sections of the park that are reopening, “This includes Pavilion, Nickersons, Heidelberg, Georgia’s Lemonade, Glenda’s Fries, Dippin’ Dots, Coastal Ice cream, Barb’s Burritos, Pizza V, Girardi’s Kebobs, and CJ’s Spot.”

Masks are recommended for guests but not required. All social distancing, health, safety and sanitation guidelines will be followed. Once the water park, rides and arcade are permitted to reopen, the town plans to do so.

Keansburg will not be hosting its annual fireworks this year, due to COVID-19.
