Jersey Shore Golfers Take a Swing at Cancer to Support the American Cancer Society

Looking for an excuse to spend a day on the golf course? The American Cancer Society has it.
The 39th Annual Jersey Shore Golf Classic & Party on the Patio takes place on Monday, June 4 at the Spring Lake Golf Club. It is a powerful and inspiring event that unites Shore communities in the fight against cancer.
The Golf Classic and Party on the Patio is the perfect kickoff to summer, as over 200 community leaders network and enjoy a cocktail hour, open bar, silent auction, entertainment, dinner, fireworks and so much more. You don’t have to golf to attend the after party.
“Together, we play to make a difference in the fight against cancer,” said Frankie Browne, American Cancer Society Volunteer Co-Chair. “The committee is excited to continue the Jersey Shore Golf Classic tradition. We are honored to be a part of such a generous and giving community dedicated to help the American Cancer Society provide comprehensive patient support to those who need it most during one of the toughest times of their lives.”
Over the last five years alone, this event has raised over $550,000 to help support the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society. Specifically, these dollars are used to invest in research to find, prevent, treat, and cure the disease. The funds also help people right here at the Jersey Shore who are facing cancer with transportation, lodging, and support programs.
The event also hosts a double shotgun with morning and afternoon tee times. Register today so you can secure the tee time you prefer! Enjoy a breakfast with friends and colleagues, a barbeque lunch, a great game of golf, dinner including cocktails, a top-notch silent and live auction, and an inspiring awards program.
