From Thanksgiving to Presidents Day, Pier Village will celebrate the return of the iconic Ice at the Pier ice skating rink by the sea. Donned in holiday décor and located in the bustling boardwalk community of Pier Village, the 4,500-square-foot ice rink is the heart of holiday activity and a thrilling experience for visitors and locals alike.

“Due to the overwhelming positive feedback and excitement last year with over 20,000 ice skaters, we are excited to bring back Ice at the Pier to our community of Pier Village, a year-round shopping, dining and entertainment destination for visiting families, couples, friends and neighboring residents,” said Nicole Guilford, Director of Leasing and Marketing at Pier Village. “Ice at the Pier is a one-of-a-kind experience and provides an opportunity to celebrate the season with meaningful moments while getting into the festive spirit.”

Opening on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, Ice at the Pier, located on Festival Plaza on Centennial Drive, will be open for business on the following days through February 18, with extended hours on holidays:

  • Thursdays (3:30pm – 9pm)
  • Fridays (3:30pm – 10pm)
  • Saturdays (10am – 10pm)
  • Sundays (10am – 9pm)
  • Christmas Eve (Monday, December 24, from 10am to 5pm)
  • Christmas Day (Tuesday, December 25, from 6pm to 9pm)
  • Winter Break (December 26 – December 30, from 10am to 10pm)
  • New Year’s Eve (Monday, December 31, from 10am to 10pm)
  • New Year’s Day (Tuesday, January 1, from 10am to 5pm)
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 21, from 10am to 9pm)
  • Presidents Day (Monday, February 18, from 10am to 9pm)

Surrounding restaurants will feature holiday menus with signature cocktails, festive eats and delectable treats, with select restaurant and retail partners offering discounts to those who show their Ice at the Pier wristband, including McLoone’s Pier House (15% off), Beach House (10% off), Avenue (10% off), Wine Loft (10% off), Molly & Zoe (10% off) and others.

Pier Village is a year-round destination in Long Branch for its robust shopping, entertainment, and dining options as well as lodging available at the 24-room upscale beach boutique hotel, Bungalow, which is opening Bungalounge, an art gallery and lounge this month. Bungalounge will offer guests of Ice at the Pier 10% off cocktails and light bites, as well as a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for parties of six or more.

Skate rentals are available for all ages for $4, and rink admission is $14 for adults, $10 for children under 12, and $10 for seniors aged 65 and older. Gift cards are also available for purchase.
