Middletown Social Services is collecting items ahead of Easter in order to serve those in need locally.
The organization is collecting Easter grass, candy and gift cards to create baskets for those in the Middletown community.
They are also requesting that you consider donating the free ham you can earn through supermarket promotions.
Donations should be dropped off at 180 Main St. in Port Monmouth by Monday, April 11. Donors are asked to call Social Services at 732-615-2085 before dropping off donation items to ensure someone is there to receive them.
