Firefighters Called to Rescue Kitten Stuck in a Tree

Firefighters are true heroes, especially to our feline friends!
Rumson Fire Company volunteers rescued a cat stuck in a tree on Maple Avenue in Fair Haven on Tuesday, as first reported by redbankgreen.com. The cat is now safe, though looking frightened when firefighters rescued him using their ladder truck.
Animal Control and Fair Haven police responded to help the cat stuck high up in the tree. Bystanders stood and watched as a firefighter comforted the cat and brought it back down to safe ground.
