The AAUW Used Book Sale also has a big selection of DVDs, CDs and books on tape as well as vinyl records, plus games, greeting cards and puzzles; there are even fun wind chimes available.
It is all priced to move – hard covers are $3; paperbacks $2 (except for recent releases); children’s books from $0.10; and bargain pricing on gift items. You can even choose $5 gift certificates to use in a thank you note.
The book sale is open Thursdays from 10 am to noon and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm for sales and book donations.
Then come back after the holidays for their popular half-price sale scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28.
The AAUW Book Sale is staffed by volunteers, and all proceeds go toward scholarships for local women at Brookdale Community College and Monmouth University, as well as book awards for the senior girl with the highest math score in 22 public high schools in northern Monmouth County.
The Northern Monmouth County Branch of AAUW has been making a difference in the community for more than 90 years and welcomes new members to join them in advancing equity for women and girls.
