Family Members Escape House Fire in Holmdel

On Friday, Feb. 3 at 4:40 pm, the Holmdel Police Department responded to 214 Holland Rd. for a report of a structure fire. Patrols arrived on scene within minutes and found several of the residents on the front lawn, and the rear of the home was fully engulfed. Thankfully, all family members were able to get out of the home unscathed, however multiple cats and a German Shepard, Duke, are still unaccounted for.

Holmdel Fire, along with Monmouth County Fire Marshalls Office, Middletown, Hazlet, Union Beach, Keyport, Matawan, Aberdeen, Keansburg, Tinton Falls, Sea Bright, Morganville, Spring Lake, Glendola, and Manalapan fire companies responded to battle the blaze. The following EMS units also responded, Holmdel, Keyport, Union Beach and Monmouth County EMS Task Force.

First responders were on scene until about 11:15 pm. There are no reported injuries, however, the police ask if there are any sightings of Duke that you please report them to the Holmdel Police Department at 732-946-4400. Please see his picture below.
