Family & Children’s Service Launches Crisis Needs Fund

In response to COVID-19, Family & Children’s Service (FCS) has implemented the COVID-19 FUND, a crisis needs fund. The Stone Foundation of New Jersey has generously provided $50,000 in funding to FCS to launch this initiative, while also supporting other local nonprofits with funds including Lunch Break, HABcorp, Interfaith Neighbors, Parker Family Health and Brookdale Community College, working together in a collective network.

The FCS COVID-19 FUND is open to applicants in the FCS service areas, which include Monmouth, Middlesex and Mercer counties. It will assist individuals and families who have been financially impacted due to COVID-19. Applicants may receive a one-time emergency relief payment of up to $1,000 for urgent living expenses. Payments in response to approved applications will be made to the service provider, not the applicant. Applicants must provide photo ID, proof of address and a copy of the bill or invoice.

The link to the application can be found here. If you cannot upload the required documents, they may be emailed to or faxed to 732-531-9526. For any inquiries regarding the FCS COVID-19 FUND, call 732-222-9111,Ext. 134.
