Fair Haven Preschool Program Accepting Applications

The Fair Haven School District will be offering an integrated Preschool Program for the 2021-22 school year. The integrated preschool program combines students with and without special needs. Children must be 3 years of age by July 15, 2021. If your child is of kindergarten age by Oct. 15, 2021, your child is not eligible. This program follows the New Jersey State Department of Education’s Preschool Teaching and Learning Expectations, Standards of Quality and is taught by a certified teacher. Typically developing children, as well as, children with special needs, will be included in the program.

There are morning and afternoon preschool sections. The classes will meet five days a week for two hours and 20 minutes per day. The preschool program will follow the Fair Haven School District’s 2021-22 academic calendar.

Space is limited; a lottery for available slots will be conducted in January. To begin the lottery process, complete the Fair Haven Schools Preschool Parent Questionnaire by Thursday, Dec. 31. The questionnaire is on the Sickles School website in the Special Services tab under About Our School.
