Empowering Women in the Workplace

In November, TriNet and D-Stef Media hosted a networking luncheon for women entitled “Be Full. Be Fearless. A Lunch and Learn for Working Women.” The event took place at Bell Works in Holmdel. The sold-out luncheon was created to empower and educate women while giving them an opportunity to network in a creative, collaborative setting. “Being active in your local community of women is an essential part of living a fulfilling life. Connecting and supporting each other is what it is all about,” said Elizabeth Hotchkiss of TriNet.

The “Be Full. Be Fearless” title alluded to the educational component of the event. Guest speaker Casey DeStefano shared her three-point strategy on how to face your inner fears to attain greater success in your life. She included tips on how to slide in and out of your comfort zone, how to follow your passion, and how to set a strong self-discipline through accountability. “As more women pick up their heads from their desks and invest time in building relationships at collaborative spaces like Bell Works, they will find many new avenues for career development, advancement, and self-fulfillment,” she said.
