Atlantic Highlands is home to one of the area’s most comprehensive fitness centers, Eastpointe Health and Fitness. This family-owned fitness complex is run by brothers Paul Mazzella, owner of Eastpointe Health and Fitness (gym) and Shore Results (training studio); Dr. Jay Mazzella, chiropractor and owner of Eastpointe Integrated Healthcare; and sister Kim Garrity, assistant manager and nutritionist. Together, this team has created a premiere results-oriented gym and fitness center that provides an integrated “whole person” approach to wellness and fitness. Since they believe that being healthy is more than just the absence of pain, but the ability to function at your body’s highest level, members may choose to combine chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy, and acupuncture along with state-of-the-art equipment and a wide variety of classes to attain a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Their personal trainers are experts at working with those with special medical needs, including pregnancy, heart disease, and post-rehab for injuries.

Eastpointe Health and Fitness just celebrated their one year anniversary in their newer and more fully expanded club, which includes a personal training studio within the club called Shore Results, for those clients who prefer closer attention to meet their specific fitness goals and for serious athletes, as well. The special area offers boutique-style custom training plans, designed to suit your likes and dislikes and work around your physical capabilities and limitations – and most importantly, the results are guaranteed. Of course, many members are looking to lose weight and get into their best shape, and one of the most popular ways to get there is the six-week fitness challenges that run several times a year. Now, just in time for summer vacations and the beach, Eastpointe Health and Fitness is introducing their third annual Memorial Day Meltaway six-week challenge, beginning the week of April 10, complete with a $1,000 prize for both the top male and top female finishers. To register for the upcoming challenge, visit the center or www.eastpointehealthandfitness.com/summer-beach-challenge.

Paul Mazzella says, “The results we see in these Fitness Challenges are inspiring and often amazing. In just six short weeks, people who are committed to sticking with the program get incredible results that go far beyond just looking better. They find a sense of accomplishment, control, power, and internal strength that fortifies every aspect of their professional and personal life.”
