Early Dismissal for Some State Workers due to Weather

According to WABC News 7, Gov. Phil Murphy has declared an early dismissal for non-essential state workers for noon today.Β  The two-part storm is expected to dump as much as a foot of snow on parts of New Jersey.Β  The governor’s office will continue to monitor the forecasts and will decide at a later time if a State of Emergency is necessary. The National Weather Service is estimating 8 to 12 inches of snowfall in the northwestern part of the states, and less than an inch in southern counties. Monmouth County is expected to get between 3 and 5 inches.

Please follow all safety precautions today, including speed restrictions on the Garden State Parkway and NJ Turnpike.
