FCS CEO Delly Beekman to Retire

Delly Beekman Family Children Services Retire

Delly Beekman, CEO of Family & Children’s Service (FCS), recently announced she will retire at the end of 2018, after six years at the helm of Monmouth County’s oldest, private nonprofit social service agency.

In a message to the FCS board of directors and her staff, Beekman cited confidence in the agency’s current position and the board’s ability to find a qualified successor.

“The decision to retire from FCS did not come easily,” she said. “I have spent the better part of my life involved with FCS and will sincerely miss the individuals I have had the privilege to work with, including the board, my amazing staff and our dedicated volunteers. I am confident, however, that the board will choose a new CEO who will maintain our long-held values while taking the agency to new heights.”

Beekman has been a part of the FCS family for more than 30 years. She began her career as a volunteer, serving on the FCS board of directors for 24 years, including two as president.
