Creative Arts & Music Festival Returns This May

The festival features the works of a variety of fine artists and artisans.

The Monmouth County Park System is hosting its annual Creative Arts & Music Festival from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, May 1 at Thompson Park on Newman Springs Road in Lincroft. This juried arts festival features specially selected artists’ works of pottery, photography, jewelry, paintings and other mediums. This family-friendly event also includes free activities and artist demonstrations by Kate O’Grady, Konstantin Zingerman and Kathleen Beausoleil.

Visitors will also enjoy live music throughout the event. The schedule is as follows:

Outdoor Music Tent

  • The Band of the Two Rivers from 11 am to noon
  • The Last Whippoorwill Band from 12:30 to 2 pm
  • The Haven from 2:30 to 4 pm

Activity Barn Music

  • Allie Pritchard from 10 to 11:30 am
  • Joe Frame from noon to 2 pm
  • Gary Nokes from 2:30 to 4 pm

The Band of the Two Rivers will perform at this year’s event.

Musicians on a Mission will perform in the Theatre Barn and The New Jersey State Youth Orchestra on the Gallery Patio.

The event is sponsored by World Subaru. Admission and parking for the festival are free. Please note that face masks are required inside buildings or when social distancing cannot be maintained. Due to occupancy limits set by the Governor’s Executive Order, there may be a short wait before entering buildings.
